Sales Associate (FTC) - Battersea
The Sales Associate at ALO's Battersea location is responsible for achieving store sales goals by delivering an exceptional customer experience aligned with the brand's mission. This role involves creating authentic connections with guests, providing comprehensive product education, and promoting the company's community and culture. The Sales Associate is expected to be well-versed in all aspects of product knowledge, including features, benefits, fabric, usage, design, and care. This position is a 6-month, fixed-term contract.
Key responsibilities include positively impacting the business and store environment in alignment with company goals, driving and exceeding sales targets through ALO's initiatives, and ensuring a friendly and accessible shopping environment. The Sales Associate will build and maintain client relationships, analyze reports in partnership with the leadership team to strategize and deliver results, and ensure effective sales floor coverage. Additional duties involve educating guests and staff on products, community, and culture, processing shipments, maintaining visual merchandising standards, and supporting other areas of the business as needed.
Preferred qualifications include prior experience in a client-centric sales environment, a passion for customer service and delivering exceptional experiences, and self-motivation with a desire to achieve results both individually and as part of a team. Full-time associates are expected to work 32-40 hours per week, with 100% of their workweek on the sales floor. Flexibility is required, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet business needs, which are subject to change. All employees are expected to work from the week of Thanksgiving, including "Black Friday," through the end of the holiday season in the first week of January.
