Revenue Enablement Manager (Expansion)
The Revenue Enablement Manager (Expansion) at Engine is responsible for developing and delivering sales enablement programs tailored for the Expansion team, which includes Account Management and Implementation. This role focuses on creating frameworks that enhance role effectiveness and establishing systems to evaluate team performance. The objective is to ensure the Expansion team possesses the necessary sales skills and knowledge to excel, maintains consistency in positioning, maximizes revenue opportunities, and effectively utilizes tools and technology to achieve optimal results.
Key responsibilities encompass owning the Expansion Organization Sales Training program post-onboarding, collaborating closely with the VP of Sales and the Account Management leadership team, and aligning with revenue operations, marketing, product, and new business teams. The role involves developing, delivering, and training end-to-end expansion playbooks in partnership with revenue leadership, first-line managers, revenue operations, and product marketing managers. Additionally, the manager will certify representatives against role-specific product and call expectations, drive performance through evaluation and accountability of sales skill playbooks, leverage sales technology tools for reporting and performance optimization, and engage regularly with front-line managers and representatives to understand needs and enhance performance.
Candidates should have over five years of experience in sales enablement, preferably within SaaS sales, with a proven track record of delivering quantifiable impact on company revenue. Experience in cross-functional collaboration with product, marketing, new business, and revenue operations teams is essential. Proficiency with revenue tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, and call coaching software is required. The role demands the ability to work independently in a hyper-growth environment, agility to manage multiple priorities effectively, and experience in training and developing team members on new tools and processes. Project management experience using tools like Asana, Wrike, or is also beneficial.
This is a hybrid role based out of Engine's Chicago office, requiring three days a week in the office. Compensation packages are competitive and based on factors including experience, expertise, and location. Total compensation may include equity and/or variable pay (OTE).
