Researcher - Digital Assets

IMC is seeking a Researcher to join its Digital Assets team in Zug, Switzerland. This team is responsible for developing algorithms that support IMC's trading activities in the cryptocurrency space. The role offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a quick feedback loop in the research, development, and deployment of trading strategies.

The successful candidate will collaborate with experienced researchers in the low-latency, profit-and-loss-focused trading domain. Responsibilities include working with cutting-edge data and software stacks, utilizing high-performance computing platforms, and exploring profit-generating opportunities within the research area.

Candidates must have at least one year of experience in researching and developing fully automated, low-latency crypto trading strategies. A background in Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related technical field is required. Strong development skills in Python are essential, and familiarity with C++ is advantageous. The role also demands outstanding analytical skills and the ability to learn quickly.

IMC offers a flat structure and an open, collaborative culture that encourages the sharing of ideas, knowledge, and technology between teams and offices. This is an onsite role in Zug, Switzerland, with very limited flexibility for working from home.
