Renewal Specialist (SMB) (Position located in Singapore)
The Renewal Specialist (SMB) at KnowBe4 is responsible for managing the renewal process for small and medium-sized business customers. This role involves coordinating with Customer Success Managers (CSMs) and customers to provide pricing quotes and efficiently close renewal opportunities. The position is based in Singapore, contributing to KnowBe4's mission of enhancing cybersecurity awareness and training globally.
Key responsibilities include managing all opportunities within the assigned customer portfolio, conducting research to understand customer health and account status, and strategizing with CSMs and Account Managers on renewals, add-ons, and upsells to maximize bookings. The specialist will proactively engage with customers, handle objections, negotiate terms to prevent churn, and generate pricing quotes for renewals. Additionally, the role involves maintaining a 30, 60, and 90-day opportunity pipeline, providing regular forecasts, and ensuring accurate record-keeping in the company's CRM system.
The ideal candidate should possess an Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience, proficiency with Gmail, Google Docs, MS Office (Word and Excel), and web browsers. Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems is preferred. Familiarity with standard concepts and practices within the IT security field, previous sales or negotiation experience, strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent time management and organization skills, superior customer service abilities, and the capacity to work collaboratively with minimal supervision are essential. The ability to build rapport with customers via phone, email, and video conferencing is also crucial.
