Renewable Energy Lawyer (Remote)

Axiom is seeking experienced Renewable Energy Lawyers to collaborate with our global energy clients. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely, providing legal expertise in the rapidly evolving renewable energy sector. Axiom is a leading alternative legal services provider, connecting top-tier legal professionals with diverse clients worldwide.

In this position, you will provide legal counsel on the development, financing, and implementation of renewable energy projects. Responsibilities include negotiating project agreements, permits, and leases, advising on regulatory compliance matters, and assisting in structuring and negotiating transactions such as power purchase agreements and project acquisitions. Additionally, you will draft and negotiate tax equity and debt financing documentation, including portfolio financing structures and tax equity partnership documents.

Candidates must possess an active bar license in their residing state and have a minimum of 5 years of experience practicing law, focusing on renewable energy. A strong understanding of U.S. federal and state laws governing the renewable energy industry is essential. Experience with utilities and managing renewable energy projects from inception to completion, including land rights acquisition and financing negotiations, is preferred.
