ALO is seeking a Regional Asset Protection & Safety Manager to lead and expand its Asset Protection (AP) and Health & Safety functions across Canada. Based in Toronto, Ontario, this role is integral to safeguarding the company's retail locations, teams, and assets, aligning with ALO's mission to promote mindfulness and movement. The manager will collaborate with AP counterparts in the United States, Europe, and APAC, as well as the Director of Asset Protection & Safety, to develop and implement region-specific strategies rooted in data analysis, technology, compliance, and field engagement.

Key responsibilities include analyzing stock loss and shrinkage data across multiple sites to develop strategies mitigating internal and external theft, fraud, and operational errors. The manager will conduct assessments for high-risk locations, create action plans to improve compliance, and investigate incidents such as organized retail crime and employee misconduct. Additionally, the role involves performing risk assessments, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, managing security technologies, overseeing third-party security providers, and championing occupational health and safety compliance across all retail locations.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in retail loss prevention, law enforcement, private security, risk management, or occupational health & safety. A minimum of 5 years of field-based, multi-site Asset Protection or Loss Prevention experience within Canada or comparable markets is required, along with at least 2 years of leadership experience overseeing multi-site operations or third-party vendor performance. Strong knowledge of Canadian health & safety legislation and privacy regulations, exceptional interpersonal, investigative, and analytical skills, and proficiency in relevant technologies including MS Office and CCTV platforms are essential. The role also requires a willingness to travel extensively across Canada.
