R&D Applications Specialist
The R&D Applications Specialist at Legend Biotech US plays a pivotal role within the Information Technology team, focusing on the operation and enhancement of laboratory IT capabilities and R&D systems. This position is based in Somerset, New Jersey, and is integral to supporting the company's mission of developing innovative cell therapies for life-threatening diseases.
In this role, the specialist is responsible for administering and maintaining key laboratory applications, including the Equipment/Asset Platform (Blue Mountain RAM) and Laboratory Information Management System/Electronic Lab Notebook (LabVantage LIMS/ELN). Key duties involve configuring and enhancing these systems to meet business requirements, ensuring compliance with Good Laboratory Practice (GxP) standards, and providing technical support for laboratory instruments and software. Additionally, the specialist collaborates with various teams to support laboratory testing activities and contributes to the development of procedural documents and training materials.
Candidates for this position should possess a Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry. A solid understanding of laboratory science, particularly in the cell therapy domain, is essential. Experience with GxP software administration and configuration, as well as proficiency in installing, configuring, and supporting systems in laboratory environments, is required. Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to manage multiple complex projects, and familiarity with ticketing systems are also important.
The compensation for this role ranges from $96,267 to $126,351 per year.
