Sr. Sourcing & Procurement Specialist
The Senior Sourcing & Procurement Specialist at Legend Biotech plays a pivotal role within the Manufacturing & Supply team, primarily supporting the Raritan, New Jersey site. This position is integral to ensuring efficient and compliant procurement processes across the company's U.S. business units. In this role, the specialist will be responsible for sourcing and selecting vendors, conducting supplier market analyses, and evaluating commercial terms to optimize purchase prices while maintaining quality and supply assurance. They will collaborate with business unit representatives to develop requirements and scopes of work for sourcing initiatives, monitor supplier performance, and manage purchasing operations, including requisitions, orders, and records. Additionally, the specialist will support supplier onboarding, due diligence, and contract compliance monitoring in alignment with procurement and compliance requirements.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field, with a minimum of 3–4 years of relevant sourcing or procurement experience. Experience in regulated environments such as GMP, pharmaceutical, biotech, or manufacturing is preferred. Proficiency in procurement systems, particularly SAP/S/4 HANA, and Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio, is essential. Familiarity with AI technologies and approved AI tools to enhance productivity is also advantageous.
