Quoting Team Representative (Position located in Cape Town, South Africa)
The Quoting Team Representative at KnowBe4 is responsible for delivering high-quality quotes for both direct and partner sales opportunities. This role supports Account Executives, Channel Account Managers, and Partner Account Managers by ensuring that all quoting and routing tasks are completed promptly and accurately. The position is based in Cape Town, South Africa, and reports to the Team Lead of Deal Operations & Global Quoting.
Key responsibilities include generating accurate and competitive quotes, managing incoming quote requests from sales teams, and creating Private Offer/Selling Authorization contracts via the AWS Marketplace Portal. The representative will also execute post-sale administrative tasks, contribute to a collaborative team culture, cross-train to support global quoting efforts, and monitor quoting and deal routing statistics daily. Additionally, the role involves close collaboration with Order Management and Business Development teams to ensure that all quotes align with company policies and best practices, while providing excellent customer service to sales teams.
Candidates should possess an Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience, along with proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel). Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems is preferred, as is familiarity with web browsers such as Chrome and Internet Explorer. Experience with AWS Marketplace is a plus. Essential skills include exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational and time management abilities, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. The ability to develop cross-functional relationships and handle stress with a positive, data-driven approach is also important.
