Quality Manufacturing Engineer

Xometry is seeking a Quality Manufacturing Engineer to enhance its Quality Management System and related processes. This role involves collaborating with internal teams and external customers to improve performance and prevent issues, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities include leading engineering activities for both internal and external stakeholders, utilizing expertise in advanced product quality planning to refine quality systems, and working cross-functionally to enhance customer experience by proactively addressing potential complaints and rejections. The engineer will manage a proactive system following AS9145/IATF 16949 requirements through internal and external resources to ensure timely completion.

Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years' experience in quality engineering, strong analytical and mechanical technical skills, and effective communication abilities in English. Proficiency in facilitating cross-functional team meetings, time and project management, and interpreting 2D drawings/specifications is essential. Experience in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and at least 2 years working with customers and suppliers are required. A comprehensive understanding of the IATF 16949 Automotive standard or equivalent is also necessary.
