Xometry is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team in Gaithersburg, MD. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to our mission of transforming manufacturing processes and delivering high-quality products to our diverse clientele.

In this position, you will lead quality-centric activities from concept to full-rate production within Xometry and its partner network. Your responsibilities will include managing internal, customer, and certification audits, overseeing the Quality Management System (QMS) library, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to reduce supplier nonconformities. Additionally, you will support customer growth by completing surveys, managing internal corrective actions, and participating in the Material Review Board (MRB).

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a quality role and at least 2 years in a customer or supplier-facing position. Strong expertise in Quality Assurance and Supplier Development is essential, along with proficiency in DFMEA/PFMEA, DFM/DFQ, GD&T, and tooling. Effective communication skills, the ability to manage multiple process root causes simultaneously, and experience with ISO 9001 and internal audits are also required. Preferred qualifications include ASQ Certification, familiarity with Google Workspace, Looker, Salesforce, and knowledge of Process Certification/Process Robustness.

Xometry offers a competitive compensation package, with an estimated base salary range of $84,000 to $109,000 annually, depending on factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, and location.
