Quality Assurance Engineer, Manufacturing
Xometry is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team in Waltham, MA. As a key player in our engineering department, you will contribute to developing and maintaining our quality systems in line with corporate policies and AS9100 standards. This role offers an opportunity to work within a fast-paced environment, addressing quality assurance challenges for customized parts.
In this position, you will lead process improvement projects to enhance supplier quality programs and procedures, ensuring our Global Partner Network's success. Your responsibilities will include utilizing quality tools to resolve non-conformances, managing supplier-related corrective actions, analyzing non-conformance trends, and overseeing internal product quality. Additionally, you will collaborate with various teams to ensure manufacturing processes meet customer quality expectations and support continuous improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related technical field, with 4-6 years of experience in engineering or quality roles, including supplier-facing responsibilities. A strong understanding of manufacturing processes, engineering drawing requirements, and Six Sigma methodologies is essential. Proficiency in root cause analysis, project management, and the ability to interpret CAD models and drawings are also required.
