QA Engineer (MIS) (Remote)
As a QA Engineer supporting the Management Information Systems (MIS) team at KnowBe4, you will work across diverse business systems, including SaaS platforms such as NetSuite, Salesforce, and Workday, as well as hosted solutions and internally developed applications. This role requires a self-starter mentality and the ability to quickly learn new systems and requirements, including specialized testing for AI systems and Large Language Models (LLMs). In this position, you will develop and implement comprehensive test strategies for MIS systems and projects, create detailed test plans and test cases for new features, enhancements, and integrations, and maintain QA best practices and standards across all platforms. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include performing thorough manual testing across the full spectrum of MIS applications and software, executing functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing, and conducting performance and load testing when necessary. Additionally, you will design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to support a variety of applications and continuously improve test automation coverage and efficiency.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, along with 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance. Strong experience in both manual and automated testing methodologies across SaaS platforms is essential. Proficiency in at least one test automation framework, working knowledge of programming/query languages such as SOQL, SQL, Java, or Python, and experience with API testing tools like Postman are required. Familiarity with Jira for requirement and bug management, knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, and experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure are also important. Understanding testing approaches for AI systems, particularly for evaluating LLM outputs for accuracy and alignment with requirements, is a plus.
The base pay for this position ranges from $90,000 to $105,000, which will vary depending on how well an applicant's skills and experience align with the job description.
