Project Finance Associate Attorney
Clifford Chance's New York office is seeking a Project Finance Associate Attorney to join its esteemed Global Financial Markets Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for negotiating credit agreements and collateral documents related to U.S. project financings, holdco financings, and tax equity financings for energy and infrastructure projects. Day-to-day tasks will include drafting and reviewing financing documentation, coordinating with clients and stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The role also involves advising on construction to back-leverage financing and other structures involving tax credits.
Applicants must possess a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited U.S. law school and be admitted to the New York Bar. Preferred class years are 2018 to 2022. Candidates should have substantial experience in project finance, particularly in negotiating credit agreements and collateral documents for energy and infrastructure projects. Strong analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills are essential, along with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Clifford Chance US LLP offers a comprehensive benefits and compensation package. The salary range for this role is $260,000 to $435,000, commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience.
