Project Development and Finance Associate Attorney
Clifford Chance is seeking a Project Development and Finance Associate Attorney to join its Houston office. This role involves advising on all aspects of project development and finance across the energy, infrastructure, natural resources, and transport sectors. The successful candidate will work within a collaborative team, providing integrated advice from project development through financing and delivery, helping clients manage complexity and deliver projects across multiple jurisdictions.
Key responsibilities include negotiating credit agreements and collateral documents for energy and infrastructure projects. The attorney will also be involved in US project financing of energy and infrastructure projects, holdco financing, US tax equity financings of energy and energy transition projects, and construction to back-leverage financing. Experience with other financing structures involving tax equity or tax credits is considered a plus.
The ideal candidate should have substantial experience in the relevant areas and be admitted to the Texas bar. Preferred class years are 2022-2018. Applicants must submit a resume and law school transcript(s) as part of their application.
Clifford Chance US LLP offers a comprehensive benefits and compensation package. The salary range for this role is $260,000–$435,000, commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.
