Professional Services Engineer (Hybrid)
The Professional Services Engineer at KnowBe4 is a pivotal technical role focused on post-sales support and customer success. This position requires a blend of product expertise and strong customer relationship skills to ensure the effective implementation, configuration, and ongoing support of KnowBe4's security solutions. The role is based in Clearwater, Florida, with opportunities for hybrid work arrangements.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining in-depth knowledge of KnowBe4's products and security awareness practices, implementing and configuring solutions for small to mid-sized business customers, and building strong relationships with key customer contacts. The engineer will also record and track customer deployment activities, support senior colleagues, mentor junior team members, and work closely with the Account Management team to ensure customers derive maximum value from their purchased solutions. Additionally, the role involves independently troubleshooting and resolving most technical issues and completing policy requests from customers.
Candidates should have familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the IT security field, along with a minimum of one year of experience in a similar or related position. A two-year degree is preferred, and familiarity with firewall and email protocols is advantageous. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to work with minimal supervision are essential. The role also requires demonstrated technical troubleshooting and analysis skills, integrity, accountability, respect, commitment, and strong collaborative and teamwork abilities.
