Product Analyst
The Product Analyst role at Similarweb is integral to bridging data insights with product development and business strategy. This position involves close collaboration with Product Managers and Growth leaders to shape the product roadmap and influence the development, launch, and monetization of products. The ideal candidate will possess a "business partner" mindset, proactively identifying commercial opportunities and user friction points within datasets.
Key responsibilities include working alongside Product Managers and leadership to define success metrics for new features and long-term growth initiatives. The analyst will design and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) across the entire user journey, from initial activation to complex monetization and retention loops. Conducting in-depth analyses to uncover hidden bottlenecks and translating complex technical data into clear narratives that drive company-wide action are also essential aspects of the role. Additionally, the analyst will act as an analytical bridge, supporting multiple product domains to ensure a consistent, data-driven approach to decision-making.
Candidates should have at least two years of experience as an analyst within a SaaS environment, with a solid understanding of subscription business metrics such as Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), churn, and Product-Led Growth (PLG). High proficiency in SQL and experience with Business Intelligence tools like Looker or Tableau are required. A natural ability to connect user behavior to business outcomes, a self-starter attitude with a strong sense of ownership, and excellent communication skills to present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders are also important. A Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field is preferred.
