Principal Software Reverse Engineer

STR is seeking a Principal Software Reverse Engineer to join their multidisciplinary team in Melbourne, Florida. This role focuses on analyzing vulnerabilities in cyber-physical systems, contributing to national security through innovative cybersecurity solutions. The position requires on-site work and an active Top Secret security clearance.

In this role, you will reverse engineer complex software and firmware, develop automated analysis tools, and lead teams to create cybersecurity solutions. Responsibilities include vulnerability research, exploit development, and technical proposal writing. You will also document and present research findings to both internal and external stakeholders.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field, with at least 15 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in assembly languages (x86, ARM), programming languages (C/C++, Python), and disassembly tools (IDA Pro, Binary Ninja, Ghidra) is essential. Experience in vulnerability research and exploit development is also required.
