Principal Scientist to Associate Director - CADD/Cheminformatics
Structure Therapeutics is seeking a Principal Scientist to Associate Director specializing in Computer-Aided Drug Design (CADD) and Cheminformatics to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on advancing GPCR structure-based drug design technologies, integrating computational workflows, and supporting drug discovery efforts through advanced molecular simulations and cheminformatics. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to drive innovation in drug discovery.
Key responsibilities include leading the design, development, and deployment of next-generation GPCR structure-based drug design and AI/Cheminformatics technologies. The role involves creating unified computational workflows, developing and optimizing molecular dynamics methodologies, building high-performance GPCR co-folding and free-energy perturbation pipelines, and deploying these platforms across active drug discovery programs to accelerate candidate identification and prioritization.
The ideal candidate will hold a PhD in a scientific or life sciences discipline with a strong understanding of chemical structures and drug discovery concepts. Required expertise includes protein–ligand structure modeling, molecular dynamics simulations, free-energy perturbation techniques, and proficiency with modern CADD software platforms. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with excellent teamwork and communication skills, are essential.
