Principal Defense Systems Analyst
The Principal Defense Systems Analyst at STR's Sensors Division is responsible for researching, designing, developing, and implementing capabilities to assess the impact of advanced concepts and algorithms on the performance and survivability of operational systems across various scenarios. This role involves leading multi-disciplinary teams to create system studies and new capabilities, developing sensor, platform, and threat models within simulation environments, and enhancing simulation tools with real-world data to conduct comprehensive studies of system performance and effectiveness. The position also requires serving as a subject matter expert on current and future U.S. and threat weapon systems, sensors, and platforms, synthesizing complex data into actionable insights, and preparing and delivering detailed technical reports and presentations to government customers.
