Post-Conviction Relief Attorney

The United Firm | La Liga Defensora, APC is seeking a Post-Conviction Relief Attorney to join their dynamic team. This role offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in both criminal and immigration law within a premier law firm in California. The attorney will report to the Supervising Attorney and collaborate with a dedicated team of legal professionals.

Key responsibilities include advising clients on their legal rights, drafting legal documents, and handling post-conviction relief cases such as motions to vacate, expungements, and motions to reduce sentences. The attorney will also attend motion hearings, manage court appearances, draft motions, interview clients, and perform legal research. Experience with immigration law is highly desirable, as the position involves interactions with both criminal and immigration practices.

The ideal candidate should have experience handling criminal cases at the state and local levels. A team-oriented approach, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to exceptional client service are essential. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is strongly preferred but not required.
