Criminal Defense Associate Attorney

The United Firm | La Liga Defensora, APC is seeking a dedicated Criminal Defense Associate Attorney to join our dynamic team in Phoenix, Arizona. The successful candidate will report directly to the Managing Criminal Defense Attorney and collaborate closely with a team of experienced attorneys and legal assistants.

In this position, the Associate Attorney will manage a diverse caseload, providing comprehensive legal counsel to clients on their rights and drafting pertinent legal documents. Responsibilities include representing clients at pretrial hearings, advising on strategic approaches post-hearing, conducting court appearances, managing trials, drafting motions, interviewing witnesses, and performing thorough legal research. The role also involves analyzing case outcomes based on legal precedents, gathering additional evidence to support client cases, and preparing clients for depositions by determining case strategy goals and collecting information from witnesses and experts.

Candidates must possess at least 3-4 years of experience in criminal defense, with a proven track record of handling complex cases at federal, state, and local levels. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, a commitment to exceptional client service, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. While bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred, it is not a mandatory requirement.
