Post-Conviction Relief Attorney
The United Firm, a premier law firm in Southern California, is seeking a Post-Conviction Relief Attorney to join their team. This role offers an opportunity for a dedicated Associate Attorney to gain valuable experience in both criminal and immigration law. The position is based in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, and reports directly to the Supervising Attorney.
As a Post-Conviction Relief Attorney, you will be responsible for advising clients on their legal rights and preparing relevant legal documents. Your primary duties will include handling post-conviction relief cases such as motions to vacate, expungements, motions to reduce, and early termination of probation. Additionally, you will attend motion hearings on behalf of clients, manage court appearances, draft motions, interview clients, and perform legal research.
The ideal candidate will have experience in criminal defense or immigration law, with a background in handling criminal cases at the state and local level. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with fellow associates are essential. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred but not required.
The United Firm offers a competitive compensation package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid parking, and paid time off. The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $110,000, with potential for higher compensation based on experience.
