Personal Injury Litigation Attorney
Morgan & Morgan is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join our expanding team in Detroit, Michigan. The attorney will manage a substantial and complex caseload encompassing all phases of personal injury litigation, from pre-litigation through trial. Responsibilities include drafting and filing litigation documents such as pleadings, discovery requests and responses, demands, motions, and memoranda of law. The role also involves guiding clients through the legal process, interacting with expert witnesses, and preparing for and attending depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.
Candidates must possess a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and be an active member in good standing with the Michigan State Bar Association. A minimum of three years of personal injury litigation experience is required. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to manage a high volume of cases, exhibit excellent client service and communication skills, and possess superior writing and oral advocacy abilities.
Morgan & Morgan offers a competitive compensation package that includes a base salary, guaranteed commission, and uncapped ongoing commission fees and bonuses.
