Axiom is seeking a Pay Transparency & Pay Equity Counsel to join its technology client team in New York. This role involves providing expert legal advice on global compensation, pay transparency, and pay equity matters, ensuring compliance and mitigating risk across multiple jurisdictions. The position offers an opportunity to collaborate with a leading global technology company, shaping legal strategies in a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape.
Key responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and advising on compensation-related policies and frameworks, providing legal guidance on pay transparency and equity, and collaborating with Legal, HR, Total Rewards, and analytics teams on compensation initiatives. The counsel will manage compensation-related legal and regulatory issues across the U.S., UK, EU, and other global jurisdictions, staying ahead of industry trends and regulatory changes to provide proactive counsel.
Candidates should have over 8 years of experience in employment law, compensation and benefits law, or a related practice area, with strong knowledge of global pay transparency and equity regulations. A proven track record of advising clients on complex employment or compensation-related legal matters in multinational organizations is essential. Excellent communication, negotiation, technology, and problem-solving skills are required, along with a Juris Doctor degree or equivalent and licensure to practice law in an applicable jurisdiction.
