The Partnerships Director – US National Partnerships at Wellhub is a pivotal role responsible for leading and expanding the company's most significant gym and wellness relationships across North America. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Partnerships, this position offers unique exposure to Wellhub's Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and plays a critical role in shaping the supply offerings that define the Wellhub member experience. This is not merely a sales position; it involves managing complex, high-stakes accounts and navigating intricate operational and contractual challenges.

Key responsibilities include building deep, transparent, and dependable long-term relationships with Tier 1 national partners, leading high-stakes negotiations with C-suite executives, and acting as the primary connector between partners and internal teams such as Finance, Legal, Product, and Operations. The role also entails owning the success components of the portfolio by proactively analyzing data to formulate creative proposals and executing contract amendments that drive mutual growth and platform stability. Additionally, the Partnerships Director represents the North American supply landscape in discussions with the ELT, providing insights that influence global strategy.

Candidates should have over 8 years of experience in Partnerships, Business Development, or Enterprise Sales, with a proven track record of growth and loyalty. A strategic mindset, the ability to balance external partner needs with internal business constraints, and experience in leading multi-layered negotiations with C-suite executives are essential. While experience in the fitness industry is valued, Wellhub welcomes candidates from diverse backgrounds who bring fresh perspectives on solving intricate business problems. Strong collaboration skills, reliability, and a data-driven approach to decision-making are also important.

The annual base salary for this role ranges from $160,000 to $175,000, depending on geographic location, relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors. In addition to the base salary, the role is eligible for participation in either the annual bonus plan or a sales incentive plan, as well as the performance-based stock option program. Benefits include a free Gold-level membership with access to onsite gyms and studios, digital fitness programs, and online wellness resources for meditation, nutrition, mental wellbeing support, and more. Employees can add up to three family members to their plan, ensuring access to wellness for those who matter most.
