Partner Account Manager (Remote in Austin, Texas)
As a Partner Account Manager at KnowBe4, you will be responsible for developing and nurturing relationships with key reseller partners to drive the growth and success of these accounts. This role involves understanding partner organizations' structures, goals, and motivations to effectively enable them in selling KnowBe4's products. You will collaborate closely with partner leadership to secure executive buy-in and develop joint business plans aimed at customer acquisition through demand generation.
Key responsibilities include building and maintaining strong relationships with reseller partners, conducting in-depth discovery to comprehend partners' business operations, and facilitating initial onboarding processes. You will work with partners to create strategic business plans, provide them with necessary tools and knowledge for effective product positioning, and coordinate joint marketing efforts to achieve sales targets. Monitoring partner performance, tracking key performance indicators, and ensuring compliance with partner agreements are also integral parts of this role.
The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED, with a bachelor's degree in a relevant field being advantageous. A minimum of three years of sales experience, particularly in channel sales with a consistent record of exceeding quotas, is required. Familiarity with IT security concepts and practices, proficiency in Salesforce, and strong skills in communication, time management, collaboration, and strategic thinking are essential. The candidate should demonstrate sales aptitude, be assertive and consultative, and have a passion for business with a willingness to go the extra mile.
Compensation for this position ranges from $140,000 to $160,000 annually, including base salary, bonuses, and commissions.
