Paralegal - Capital Markets
Clifford Chance, a leading international law firm, is seeking a Paralegal to join their Capital Markets team in the Newcastle Legal Delivery Centre. This centre collaborates with the Delhi office to support global legal teams by effectively utilizing knowledge, resources, processes, and legal technology to serve clients. The Newcastle Delivery Centre encompasses various practice areas, including Global Financial Markets, Corporate, Real Estate, Litigation & Dispute Resolution, and Tax, Pensions & Employment.
In this role, the Paralegal will be integral to the Capital Markets product group within the Global Financial Markets practice area. Responsibilities include conducting red flag due diligence exercises, reviewing subscription and other fund documents, assisting with signings and closings, verifying prospectuses and investor presentations, drafting transaction documents and letters, reviewing pre and post-completion work, proofreading, redacting, preparing precedents, and performing other administrative tasks as required. The position also involves integrating legal technology into processes and advancing skills in this area.
Candidates should possess a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently within a team. Proficiency in legal technology tools such as Generative AI, Kira, High Q, Relativity, and Contract Companion is advantageous. Effective communication skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement are essential.
