Operations Specialist (Crypto)

IMC is seeking an Operations Specialist to join its expanding crypto trading operations team in Sydney. This role is integral to managing and ensuring the accuracy of crypto and fiat trade settlements, contributing to IMC's commitment to providing essential liquidity in financial markets.

The Operations Specialist will be responsible for managing crypto and fiat trade settlements, including communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate settlements. Key duties include trade and settlements reconciliation, tracking asset inventory, whitelisting crypto addresses across multiple trading venues, managing banking beneficiaries, and overseeing the collection and organization of external counterparty-related trade data.

Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in crypto trading operations, particularly in settlements and trading reconciliation. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel are essential. Familiarity with operations and settlements tools used in crypto is required, and experience with Python or SQL is advantageous. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, along with a team-oriented and entrepreneurial mindset, are also important.
