Operations Planning Analyst

The Operations Planning Analyst at ALO plays a pivotal role in translating business strategy into operational readiness across the Distribution & Logistics network. This position is part of the European Operations team and reports directly to the Director of Operations, Europe. The Analyst supports strategic planning initiatives, ensuring that demand forecasts, promotional strategies, and growth initiatives are aligned with capacity, labor, and fulfillment plans.

Key responsibilities include translating sales forecasts, promotional calendars, and product launch plans into operational capacity and fulfillment requirements. The Analyst supports mid- and long-range operational planning to align demand, storage capacity, labor, and throughput capabilities. Additionally, they build scenario models to evaluate trade-offs across service levels, cost, labor, and network constraints, and identify operational risks and bottlenecks, proposing mitigation strategies.

The role requires 5+ years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Planning, or Analytics roles, with demonstrated experience in operational capacity planning, forecasting, or network decision-making. Strong analytical and modeling skills are essential, along with advanced Excel proficiency. Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker is preferred. A Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Analytics, or a related field is required.
