Operations Associate (Part-Time) - Southpark Mall
The Operations Associate at ALO's Southpark Mall location in Charlotte, NC, plays a pivotal role in enhancing store profitability and operational efficiency. This position involves close collaboration with the Operations & Visual Management team to implement and refine processes that support the store's overall operations.
Key responsibilities include executing inventory management processes to maximize accuracy and minimize shrinkage, investigating inventory discrepancies, and escalating systemic issues to the General/Store Manager. The role also encompasses handling shipments, receiving and processing merchandise, managing reverse transfers, maintaining sales floor recovery, replenishing stock throughout the day, updating floor sets, and overseeing supply management. Upholding strong visual standards on the sales floor and ensuring a safe, organized stockroom environment are essential duties.
Candidates should have at least one year of experience in a client-focused sales or operational setting. The role demands constant movement within the store, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and tasks such as bending, kneeling, climbing, and safely using ladders. A passion for delivering exceptional customer service, self-motivation, and alignment with ALO's guiding principles are crucial.
Part-time associates are expected to work up to 30 hours per week, with a minimum shift of four hours, based on business needs. All employees must be available during the company's blackout period, from the week of American Thanksgiving through the first week of January.
