New York Real Estate Associate Attorney
Clifford Chance, a leading global law firm, is seeking a mid-level to senior associate attorney to join their Real Estate team in New York. The Real Estate Group advises a diverse clientele, including real estate owners, investors, sponsors, and developers, on a wide range of real estate-related transactions across all asset classes.
In this role, the associate will work on a variety of large and complex real estate transactions, focusing on joint ventures, purchases and sales, private equity transactions, REITs, leasing, and other related matters. Responsibilities include managing substantial portions of sophisticated transactions, drafting and negotiating transaction documents, coordinating due diligence, and supporting deal execution. The associate will also supervise junior attorneys, providing guidance and mentorship to foster their professional development.
Candidates should have at least 3 years of law firm experience advising clients on large and complex real estate transactions. A Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited U.S. law school with high academic achievement is required. Experience in real estate transactions, including joint ventures, purchases and sales, private equity transactions, REITs, and/or leasing, is essential. Strong analytical, drafting, negotiation, and project management skills are necessary, along with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams. Admission to the New York Bar or the ability to waive in is required.
Clifford Chance offers a comprehensive benefits and compensation package. The salary range for this role is $260,000 to $390,000 annually, with actual compensation commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience.
