Network Engineer
IMC is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our Mumbai office. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and supporting high-performance, low-latency network infrastructure that underpins our trading operations. Collaborating closely with Systems Engineers, internal teams, and external partners, you will contribute to delivering best-in-class solutions that meet the dynamic demands of the financial trading industry.
Your primary responsibilities will include designing and supporting networking infrastructure, focusing on low-latency networking, unicast and multicast routing (OSPF, BGP, PIM SM), and other key areas such as QoS, STP, NAT, and protocol tuning. You will monitor and analyze network performance, implement corrective measures, and perform structural maintenance. Additionally, you will proactively enhance our infrastructure by contributing to automation efforts using scripting languages like Bash and Python, and maintain accurate documentation of network components and procedures.
The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience as a Network Engineer, with a strong passion for all aspects of networking. You should possess a proven ability to design, implement, and support high-performance networks, and demonstrate a strong appetite for accuracy and innovation beyond standard networking concepts. A collaborative mindset is essential, with experience working across cross-functional teams, and excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
