The Middle East Summer Vacation Scheme is a two-week and two-day program scheduled from June 10 to June 25, 2027, in the firm's Dubai and Abu Dhabi offices. Participants will work closely with experienced lawyers in key practice areas, including Capital Markets, Debt Finance, Disputes, Corporate Transactions & Advisory, Project Development Finance, Real Estate, Restructuring & Insolvency, and Funds. The program offers a stipend of AED 2,500, with flights and accommodation covered where applicable.
The Middle East Training Contract is a two-year program comprising four six-month rotations. The first rotation is based in the London office, followed by three rotations in the Middle East offices, providing comprehensive exposure to the firm's global product groups. Trainees receive a salary of AED 350,000 in the first year and AED 365,000 in the second year.
Applicants should be genuinely interested in building a legal career in the Middle East with Clifford Chance. Fluent Arabic language skills, both written and spoken, are strongly preferred. Strong cultural, personal, and/or familial connections to the Middle East region are also highly regarded. Prior legal experience or a law degree is not required. Trainees are expected to be problem-solvers with strong communication skills and commercial acumen.
