Mid-Market Account Executive
Motive is a leading technology company specializing in AI-powered fleet management solutions, serving nearly 100,000 customers across various industries, including transportation, construction, and energy. The Mid-Market Account Executive role is integral to expanding Motive's presence among companies operating 50-174 trucks in the United States. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a rapidly growing sales segment within a dynamic and innovative organization.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving new business by managing the entire sales cycle—from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals. Your daily activities will include conducting discovery calls, product demonstrations, and trials to understand potential customers' challenges and goals. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, such as Sales Development, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success, will be essential to ensure a seamless sales process.
Ideal candidates will possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with at least two years in a full-cycle sales role, preferably within the SaaS industry. A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas, strong outbound lead generation skills, and the ability to work effectively with various teams are crucial. A self-starter attitude, adaptability in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to continuous learning are highly valued.
Compensation for this role includes a base salary ranging from $142,000 to $197,000, with additional uncapped commissions and equity options. Benefits encompass health, pharmacy, optical, and dental care, as well as a 401(k) contribution, subject to eligibility requirements.
