Marketing & Advertising Lawyer

Axiom is seeking experienced Marketing & Advertising Lawyers to collaborate with some of the world's largest companies across various industries. This remote position offers the opportunity to work with internal marketing teams, providing legal counsel on a wide range of marketing and advertising initiatives.

In this role, you will partner with marketing teams to advise on content such as website posts, online campaigns, promotions, sweepstakes, and press releases. Responsibilities include reviewing consumer-facing sales and marketing materials, drafting and negotiating contracts like marketing agreements, sponsorship agreements, licensing agreements, and website development agreements. Ensuring compliance with trademark, copyright, consumer protection, and advertising laws is a key aspect of the position.

Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Marketing & Advertising law, with the ability to work independently and cross-functionally. Strong interpersonal skills and experience handling complex projects are essential. An active bar license in the state of residence is required.

Preferred qualifications include in-house experience working directly with marketing teams, as well as experience reviewing website content, online campaigns, promotions, sweepstakes, and press releases for compliance with marketing and advertising laws. Experience drafting and negotiating a variety of contracts related to marketing and advertising is also desirable.

This role offers competitive compensation starting at $140,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health benefits, 401(k), and access to professional development resources. Axiom predominantly operates remotely, though some clients may require on-site presence.
