Manager, Sourcing
Xometry is seeking a highly capable and driven Senior Manager, Sourcing to join our expanding team in India. This role is crucial for establishing best-in-class service for our global partners and customers. The Senior Manager will lead a team of 2-4 Sourcing Coordinators, develop and implement sourcing solutions for complex orders, optimize existing processes, and drive exceptional team performance.
Key responsibilities include leading, mentoring, and supporting the sourcing team to ensure efficient and effective order processing. The role involves overseeing daily sourcing operations, monitoring key performance indicators, and executing strategies to enhance team productivity and quality. Additionally, the Senior Manager will identify and implement alternative sourcing strategies, manage network relationships, and address complex and challenging orders.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Commerce, or a related field, with over 8 years of professional experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain management, or project management, preferably within the manufacturing sector. Leadership experience of at least 4 years in a team lead or supervisory role is required. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, proficiency in computer applications like Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides, and demonstrated experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and customers are essential.
