Manager, Sales Development
Gong is seeking a Manager of Sales Development to lead and expand our Sales Development team in Dublin. This team serves as the initial point of contact for prospective customers, playing a crucial role in our growth strategy. The role involves building and coaching a high-performing team focused on creatively prospecting into our ideal customer profile. This position is hybrid, requiring three days per week in the office and two days remote.
Key responsibilities include hiring, coaching, and managing a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), developing data-driven outbound and inbound strategies, and fostering a high-performance culture. The manager will also be responsible for reporting on team and individual results, identifying areas for process improvement, and collaborating cross-functionally with Marketing on key initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of management experience in software sales or 5+ years as a SaaS Account Executive. A proven track record of achieving 100%+ quota as an individual contributor and success in an SDR Manager role are essential. Experience in building and scaling teams, managing Sales Development KPIs, and proficiency in a second European language are preferred but not required.
