Manager, Sales Development (German Speaking)
Remote is seeking a Manager, Sales Development (German Speaking) to join our Sales team and support our EMEA-based Outbound Sales Development Representatives. This role is pivotal in driving Remote's growth by generating a predictable pipeline of qualified new business opportunities and developing high-caliber talent for internal promotions within our go-to-market teams. As the initial point of contact for new customers, the Sales Development team aims to deliver positive and impactful first impressions, setting the foundation for successful client relationships.
The Manager will be responsible for coaching Sales Development Representatives to achieve outbound pipeline generation goals, developing team members to enhance their sales skills, and implementing process and content improvements to accelerate SDR effectiveness. Collaboration with regional Sales Directors, fellow Sales Development Managers, and the Director of Sales Development is essential to improve the quality and quantity of the sales pipeline. Additionally, the role involves partnering with the Marketing team to provide feedback on marketing-qualified lead quality and to brainstorm new campaign ideas. Regular reporting on key individual and team metrics to identify areas for improvement, as well as hiring and onboarding new Sales Development Representatives, are also key responsibilities.
Candidates should have experience leading Sales Development Representatives in a fast-growing tech company, a proven track record of driving pipeline through inbound and outbound channels, and strong sales acumen, with experience in a closing role being highly preferred. Familiarity with a robust tech stack, including tools like Salesforce, Outreach, Zoominfo, and LeadIQ, is important. A passion for hiring, onboarding, and mentoring top talent, along with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders, particularly in sales and marketing, is essential. Fluency in English and German or Dutch is required, and while experience working remotely is not mandatory, it is considered a plus.
