Manager, Global Retail Technology Enablement
The Manager, Global Retail Technology Enablement at ALO is responsible for shaping the company's in-store technology ecosystem and omnichannel capabilities. This role involves defining strategic visions and leading the execution of initiatives to modernize POS, RFID, and omnichannel systems, aiming to enhance customer experience, improve inventory visibility, and drive productivity and scalable growth across markets. Additionally, the manager ensures that operational policies and procedures evolve in alignment with system enhancements and platform changes, creating clear, consistent standards that enable seamless store execution globally.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining a strategic roadmap for global retail technologies, identifying capability gaps across store systems, and defining future-state solutions to support scalability and international expansion. The role also involves partnering with Digital and eCommerce teams to strengthen end-to-end omnichannel journeys, evaluating new and emerging retail technologies to inform platform evolution, and supporting long-term infrastructure planning for new store concepts and global expansion. Furthermore, the manager is tasked with developing and evolving policies and procedures that support global retail technologies, establishing governance frameworks for system enhancements, and translating system updates into clear operational standards and documentation.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree and have 4–7+ years of experience in HQ retail operations or a retail leadership role focused on operations. Experience contributing to technology roadmaps or large-scale system implementations is essential, along with strong working knowledge of POS systems, RFID technology, inventory management platforms, and omnichannel fulfillment models. The candidate should have experience developing retail policies and operational standards, the ability to translate operational needs into structured business requirements, strong analytical capabilities, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint) and the ability to travel to stores as needed are also required.
The base salary range for this position is $120,000 to $140,000 per year, representing the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
