Logistics Coordinator, International Freight
Xometry is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join its dynamic and fast-paced Logistics Department. This role involves working closely with internal and external customers to quote and coordinate both international and domestic shipments, ensuring efficient and compliant transportation solutions.
Key responsibilities include determining cost and pricing structures, developing procedures, and ensuring compliance for international freight shipments. The coordinator will prepare shipping freight forwarding requests for quotes, analyze freight forwarder rates, and manage U.S. and foreign shipments. Additionally, the role involves ensuring regulatory requirements are met, maintaining accurate billing, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure end-to-end delivery.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the international logistics industry, with extensive experience working with major carriers such as FedEx, UPS, and DHL, as well as international freight forwarders. Strong communication skills, proficiency in ERP systems, Salesforce, and Microsoft Excel, along with a proactive and problem-solving mindset, are essential. Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations at the state, federal, and international levels is also required.
The estimated base salary range for this position is $42,000 to $55,000 annually, depending on factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, and location.
