Litigation Paralegal
Morgan & Morgan, a leading personal injury law firm, is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our personal injury team in Boston, Massachusetts. This role involves working closely with our attorneys to provide comprehensive support before, during, and after trials.
The Litigation Paralegal will be responsible for preparing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, and legal memoranda. Duties include e-filing court documents in state and federal courts, conducting legal research and factual investigations, preparing discovery documents, coordinating and summarizing depositions, and organizing trial binders and exhibits. Additional tasks involve maintaining pleadings and discovery indexes, organizing exhibits and evidence, assisting attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requests, liaising between trial teams and third parties, and aiding in witness preparation and case settlements.
Candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED, with an associate degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience preferred. A minimum of two years of litigation experience is required, along with completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program preferred. Experience in personal injury, workers' compensation, premises liability, or other injury-related practice areas is advantageous. The role demands strong multitasking abilities, excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in calendaring depositions, mediations, and hearings, and extensive computer and database expertise, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and a typing speed of no less than 35 words per minute.
This on-site position offers an hourly wage ranging from $31.25 to $40.87, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical and dental insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and paid holidays.
