Case Manager
Morgan & Morgan, a leading personal injury law firm, is seeking a dedicated Case Manager to join our team in Houston, Texas. This role is integral to our mission of protecting the rights of individuals against powerful entities. The Case Manager will work closely with attorneys and clients to ensure seamless case progression and optimal outcomes.
The Case Manager will be responsible for daily interactions with clients, both existing and potential, through telephone and in-person communications. Key duties include ordering medical records from providers, obtaining necessary documents to support injury and liability positions, and interacting with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to secure records and account balances. Additionally, the role involves maintaining organized case files, preparing comprehensive demands, and assembling supporting documents for submission to carriers under attorney supervision.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree, with prior experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager preferred. At least two years of experience in a legal position or as an insurance adjuster is desirable. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage workloads with minimal supervision. Strong writing and communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook are essential. Typing speed should be no less than 35 words per minute.
