Litigation Paralegal
Morgan & Morgan is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team in Saint Louis, Missouri. As a Litigation Paralegal, you will work closely with our attorneys, providing essential support before, during, and after trials. This role offers the opportunity to be fully immersed in the work and gain direct experience alongside the team.
Key responsibilities include preparing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, and legal memoranda. You will be responsible for e-filing court documents in state and federal courts, conducting legal research and factual investigations, and preparing discovery documents, interrogatories, and responses. Additionally, you will coordinate and summarize depositions, prepare trial binders and exhibits, and perform administrative duties such as calendaring hearings and deadlines, organizing case files, and managing logistics.
The ideal candidate will have an associate degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience, with a minimum of 2 years of litigation experience preferred. Completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program is also preferred. Candidates must possess the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage workload with a positive attitude and minimal supervision. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in calendaring depositions, mediations, and hearings. Applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules, and procedures is required. The role requires a highly organized individual capable of juggling multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
