As a Litigation Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the legal team by managing daily operations, organizing case files, and ensuring efficient workflow. Your responsibilities will include scheduling hearings and deadlines, maintaining pleadings and discovery indexes, organizing exhibits and legal documents, and assisting in the preparation of reports and case files. Additionally, you will draft and proofread correspondence and legal documents, conduct legal research, manage client billing, and communicate with clients and witnesses to coordinate meetings and depositions.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience as an administrative assistant, legal assistant, legal secretary, or paralegal, preferably within a law firm or corporate legal department. A high school diploma is required, with an associate's degree in paralegal studies, a paralegal certificate, or a bachelor's degree being preferred. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is advantageous. Strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook are essential. Familiarity with motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules, and procedures is also important.
