Litigation Assistant

As a Litigation Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the legal team by managing daily operations, performing administrative tasks, and ensuring efficient workflow. Your responsibilities will include scheduling hearings and deadlines, organizing case files, maintaining pleadings and discovery indexes, and coordinating logistics. Additionally, you will assist in drafting and proofreading legal documents, conducting research, and managing client billing processes.

The ideal candidate should possess a high school diploma or GED, with a preference for an associate's degree in paralegal studies, a paralegal certificate, or a bachelor's degree. A minimum of two years of experience as an administrative assistant, legal assistant, legal secretary, or paralegal is required, preferably within a law firm or corporate legal department. Proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred, along with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules, and procedures is essential.
