Lien Negotiatior

This role is integral to the final stages of case closure, ensuring effective communication between legal staff and clients. The firm specializes in Personal Injury, Workers’ Compensation, Immigration Law, Criminal Defense, and Civil Rights, with a dedicated team of over 1,200 employees and more than 160 associate attorneys across 12 offices nationwide.

As a Lien Negotiator, your primary responsibilities will include assembling, organizing, and itemizing client medical bills, as well as submitting and obtaining liens from entities such as Medi-Cal, Medicare, and Kaiser (The Rawlings Company). You will negotiate medical payment reimbursement claims and waivers, draft lien reduction acceptance letters, and identify liens from various medical providers and agencies. Candidates should possess at least one year of legal experience, specifically in Personal Injury, and have a minimum of one year of office experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including editing, sorting/filtering, and maintaining complex spreadsheets, is required.
