The Legal Support Specialist (Scheduling & Outreach) at ABC Legal Services plays a pivotal role in managing court hearing coverage through efficient scheduling, dispatching, and real-time coordination. This position is integral to Docketly, a sister company of ABC Legal Services, which specializes in providing stand-in attorneys for the creditor’s rights industry. By combining proprietary software with a nationwide network of attorneys, Docketly has redefined legal support services, making them more accessible and reliable.
In this role, the specialist is responsible for coordinating and dispatching attorneys for a high volume of daily hearings, managing scheduling changes, cancellations, and urgent coverage gaps. The position also involves confirming assignments to ensure accurate and complete coverage, as well as communicating with attorneys and clients to provide seamless service. Additionally, the specialist conducts outbound calls to schedule hearings and support client needs, tracks metrics, maintains scheduling data, and supports reporting. Collaboration with internal teams to improve processes and execution is also a key aspect of the role.
Candidates should possess strong communication skills and confidence on the phone, be highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting, and be solutions-oriented with strong problem-solving skills. Comfort with working toward goals and performance metrics is essential, as is being tech-savvy with the ability to learn new systems quickly. While not mandatory, individuals who thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments, enjoy phone-based work, are self-starters eager to grow with a scaling company, and are team players who take initiative and solve problems proactively are highly desirable.
