Dispatch Lead

The Dispatch Lead at ABC Legal Services plays a pivotal role in overseeing dispatch operations within a designated territory. This position involves both active dispatching and leadership responsibilities, ensuring that legal documents are delivered promptly and accurately. The Dispatch Lead collaborates closely with a team of dispatchers and serves as a primary point of contact for internal departments, management, and territory team members.

Key responsibilities include managing daily dispatch operations to meet service level agreements and quality standards, leading and supporting a team of dispatchers on complex assignments, and maintaining network coverage by sourcing and managing offline vendors. The role also involves monitoring territory performance metrics, reviewing and approving pricing exceptions, and acting as an escalation point for service issues.

Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with an associate's or bachelor's degree preferred. A minimum of two years' experience in legal dispatch, process serving, or a related legal operations role is required. Strong organizational and prioritization skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in dispatch or case management platforms are essential. Experience coordinating with offline vendors and familiarity with state-specific service of process rules are advantageous.
