Legal Sales Support Lead
JetBrains, a global leader in software development tools, is seeking a Legal Sales Support Lead to join their Sales Legal team. This team is responsible for managing the entire global sales contracting process, including complex enterprise agreements and strategic negotiations, ensuring a balance between commercial objectives and legal compliance. The role offers a hybrid work environment, combining remote work with regular in-office meetings.
As the Legal Sales Support Lead, you will lead, mentor, and develop a team comprising contract managers and legal counsels. Your responsibilities will include setting and monitoring service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the sales legal function, overseeing the end-to-end sales contract lifecycle, and driving the implementation and standardization of contracting processes and templates. Additionally, you will act as the central point of contact for the assigned sales legal agenda and cross-team initiatives, ensuring consistent application of risk assessment standards and structured escalation processes.
The ideal candidate will possess a law degree or equivalent legal qualification, with at least eight years of relevant post-university experience in commercial contracting, preferably within a multinational or technology-driven environment. Experience in leading, mentoring, or supervising legal professionals is essential, along with strong expertise in commercial contract review and negotiation. The role also requires experience in driving process improvements and implementing contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools or automation solutions. Fluency in English, with outstanding written and verbal communication skills, is a must.
